Every time we conduct a training, we’ll want to make plans for immediate follow-up consultation. Such plans can include picking specific skills to practice and/or family situations where the skills from training will be practiced. Our team process can be expanded to support and spread practice changes throughout the organization. For example, we can provide an offsite advisor for some of this practice just as we do with our own team. As skill and confidence is developed, we can help early adopters transition into advisor roles with colleagues who are beginning to practice new skills from training. We can subsequently support the early adopters as they prepare these colleagues to take on an advisor role. As we transition out of the team process we can transition to exemplar consults, just was we use Andrew Turnell, Susie Essex, Kevin Campbell, and Frank Thomas to support our work.
