The organizational equivalent of the written safety plan for families includes all of the organization’s written policies, procedures, manuals, guides and instructions. As changes occur, all of these things will need to be revised to accurately reflect changes in practice. Just as the children are at the center of every rigorous safety plan, each agency’s direct practitioners need to be at the center of all of this work. Practitioners also need space to bring themselves, their skills, their ideas, and their innovations, into every change process. We can assist organizations in this work.
